Digital Marketing Specialist

We currently have an opening for a Digital Marketing Specialist.
Responsibilities include:
Summary: Responsible for conceiving and launching integrated web marketing strategies to support digital services offered by MDR, with particular focus on driving growth of our social media platform, WeAreTeachers, and supporting new digital advertising products. The ideal candidate will bring previous experience with digital campaign and digital marketing planning, search engine, and landing page optimization recommendations and evaluations, and retargeting and paid search experience.
- Develop clear business objectives and deliver high impact digital marketing programs, communications, training and sales collateral to support growth objectives for MDR.
- Deliver effective communications, training and sales collateral about product offerings and how to use them to drive revenue growth in a multi-channel environment.
- Performs assessments and analysis of digital marketing campaigns to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Engage customers via relevant social media programs, customer education, and digital advertising to expand their marketing strategies to include broader MDR offerings.
- Plan, budget and execute on digital campaigns in conjunction with traditional email/mail and market education campaigns to drive qualified leads to the MDR sales team.
Qualifications include:
- Play a leadership role in continually building the MDR team’s digital know-how and educating the organization on relevant digital trends.
- Able to make test & learn decisions about digital marketing with measurable ROI, and to make effective decisions about how to improve results quickly.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts in order to quickly gain alignment from and simultaneously influence product managers and customers alike.
- Must thrive in fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects with minimal supervision.
- Highly detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Actively engages in Facebook, Twitter and YouTube and is well-versed in the drivers, motivators, and program nuances of these platforms.
- Must be a strong multi-tasker who is able to deal with unexpected problems calmly and effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Facebook Insights. Experience with Eloqua is a plus.
- Experience and interest in the education market preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required. 2-4 years experience in digital marketing campaign management, digital agency management, web analytics preferred.
